One Hour Vet Education Talk: K9 Stone Disease sponsored by Purina! with Dr. Jodi Westropp

During this 50 minute lecture, Dr. Westropp will review new updates on the pathophysiology and management of canine calcium oxalate and struvite urolithiasis. Learn about new research that alters our management of the most common canine uroliths. Furthermore, in the last 5-10 minutes see how you can participate in an ongoing clinical trial for your clients (and receive compensation for enrolling dogs)! Plus, receive a full one hour of CE credit.  This will be a live interactive webinar so come with questions!

Dr. Jodi Westropp is the director of the G. V. Ling Urinary Stone Analysis Laboratory. She did her undergraduate work at The Ohio State University and stayed at Ohio State to complete her veterinary degree in 1997. She then moved NYC for a one year internship in small animal medicine and surgery at the Animal Medical Center and returned to Ohio for her internal medicine residency and PhD. She was board certified in veterinary medicine in 2001 and completed her PhD in 2004. She is currently an associate professor in the Department of Medicine and Epidemiology at the University of California, Davis School of Veterinary Medicine. Her primary research focus is lower urinary tract disorders in dogs and cats
