Center for Veterinary Postgraduate Education Policies

• CONTINUING EDUCATION

• The Center for Veterinary Postgraduate Education at the UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine is a Statutorily Approved CE Provider.  These programs, in cooperation with UC Davis Continuing and Professional Education, meet the California Veterinary Medical Board 36 hour bi-annual requirement for Veterinary Practitioners, and the 20 hour bi-annual requirement for RVTs. 
  
  Participants are responsible for determining if specific programs are accepted for CE credit by their State Licensing Board.

• CANCELLATION POLICY

• For the most accurate information for the program's cancellation and refund policy in which you are interested, please see the event description on the program's website.
  
  All requests must be made in writing. Submit cancellation request via email to [email protected].

• DUPLICATE REGISTRATION

• If you have registered twice for a conference, you may request a cancellation and refund of the duplicate registration. A $5 processing fee will be charged for the cancellation of a duplicate registration. Email and notify [email protected] of your duplicate registration.

• ACCESSIBILITY

• The Center for Veterinary Postgraduate Education is committed to making its programs accessible to persons with disabilities. If you need an accommodation to participate in an event because of a disability, please contact us at 530-752-3905 with information regarding the requested accommodation. We strongly recommend that you contact us at least 30 days before the start of the program to ensure that necessary accommodations can be made.

• REPLACEMENT CE CERTIFICATES

• Resend of Veterinary Continuing Education Certificates (updated January 2026)
  
  If a certificate resend is requested within one month of an event, no processing fee will be charged. After one month, replacement certificates for CVPE programs attended within the past two years may be requested for a $35.00 processing fee. This fee covers the administrative cost of processing each certificate.

  To request a replacement certificate, please submit your request and complete payment online. Once your request is received, we will follow up with additional details. Please note that in some cases, a search may not yield a CE certificate.

• PROGRAM PARTICIPATION

• By your participation in our continuing education programs, you agree to release, waive, discharge, and promise not to sue The Regents of the University of California, its directors, officers, employees, and agents ("The University"), from liability from any and all claims, including the negligence of The University, resulting in personal injury, accidents or illnesses, and property loss, in connection with your participation in the programs.
