CE Credits and Certification
- Are you RACE Approved?
- The Center for Continuing Professional Education at the UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine is a Statutorily Approved CE Provider. These programs, in cooperation with UC Davis Continuing and Professional Education, meet the California Veterinary Medical Board 36 hour bi-annual requirement for Veterinary Practitioners, and the 20 hour bi-annual requirement for RVTs. Participants are responsible for determining if specific programs are accepted for CE credit by their State Licensing Board.
- How are CE credits provided?
- We follow an honor system. For example, "up to three CE credits" means that a person can claim 1, 2, or 3 hours of CE credit once they receive our certificate. We offer up to 3 hours of CE credits, but if they only attended 1 hour of CE then they are responsible for claiming the number of hours that pertain to their attendance.
- Why are the CE credit hours pending?
- The speakers must provide the required documents to certify their lecture hours before we can approve the credit hour.
- When will I receive the CE certificate to an event I participated in?
- The CE certificate will be emailed to the email address you registered with within 7-10 business days.
- What is the fee if I need a CE certificate resent?
- The processing fee to resend a CE certificate is $35.
- I haven't received my CE certificate to an event I participated in the past, who do I contact?
- Contact svmcontinuinged@ucdavis.edu with the name of the event you attended and a staff will follow up with you on your inquiry.
