Our discussion in this series will be, Managing the Triple Threat: CKD, Proteinuria and Hypertension presented by Carrie Palm, DVM, DACVIM (SAIM). SPEAKER

Carrie Palm

Dr. Carrie Palm earned her degree from the University of California, Davis. She then completed an internship and residency in small animal internal medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Palm returned to UC Davis and completed a 2-year fellowship in urinary medicine, including advanced training in nephrology, hemodialysis/extracorporeal medicine and endourology. Dr. Palm became a faculty member at the UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine in 2011. She is interested in all aspects of renal and urinary medicine, but her main focuses are acute kidney injury (including feline ureteral obstruction), extracorporeal therapies (including hemodialysis and apheresis) and interventional endourology.

    The entrance requirement (for attendees age 12 and older) can be met in one of the following ways:
    1. UC Davis campus employees or students are required to show their valid Daily Symptom Survey compliance email.
    2. UC Davis Health employees can display their ID bearing an orange sticker confirming vaccination status or show their Daily Symptom Survey output with proof of a negative COVID-19 test result from the last 72-hours.
    3. Non-affiliate attendees can show:
        Their CDC Vaccine Card (phone image acceptable) or digital vaccine record from the State of California OR 
        A negative COVID-19 test result from the last 72-hours. (must be a lab/PCR test; home tests/antigen tests are not valid; if offered and proctored by the event, at-door antigen tests are acceptable)

  • CANCELLATION POLICY

  • A refund will be made, less a $5.00 processing fee, if the cancellation request is received two weeks before the program start date, otherwise, a refund will be made, less a $10.00 processing fee.

In accordance with University policy and copyright law, the University prohibits distributing and/or posting on the internet any content from conferences without the explicit permission of the instructors and the UCD SVM CCPE.
