Join us in vibrant Davis, California for the 3rd Annual Veterinary Dentistry Conference!

Discover the latest advancements in veterinary dentistry and oromaxillofacial surgery at our immersive two-day conference, held in the lively college town of Davis, California. This year’s conference is thoughtfully designed for veterinarians, technicians, and dental professionals, featuring specialized tracks to meet your professional development.

On Saturday, January 31, 2026, attendees can choose between two focused lecture tracks: Fundamentals of Oral Medicine and Advancing OMFS. Whether you're building foundational knowledge or tackling advanced surgical topics, these sessions offer valuable insights at every experience level. For those unable to attend in person, a virtual option is available for the Fundamentals of Oral Medicine track.

In addition to the lecture tracks on Saturday, two interactive hands-on labs will be available for in-person attendees on Sunday, February 1, 2026.

For Veterinarians: Tackling Challenging Feline Dental Extractions
Build confidence in performing full-mouth feline extractions in this practical 4-hour wet lab. Learn advanced techniques to manage common challenges, including safe extraction of mandibular canine teeth to prevent jaw fractures, retrieving fractured root tips, and treatment planning for teeth affected by resorption. Ideal for veterinarians seeking to refine their skills and improve patient outcomes in feline dentistry.

For Veterinary Technicians and Assistants: Stay Sharp! Periodontal Charting and Hand Instruments – Use, Care, and Maintenance
This 4-hour dry lab is designed to enhance your knowledge and technique with essential periodontal instruments. Participants will practice using the sickle scaler, universal curette, and Gracey curette alongside power scalers for effective calculus removal. The session also includes a review of the fundamentals and techniques of dental charting, and emphasizes proper ergonomics, sharpening techniques, and infection control practices. Short lectures alternate with hands-on training using typodonts, with expert instructor support throughout.
