Join Us for an Enriching 2-Day Veterinary Cardiology and Respiratory Conference
Escape to the Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe Resort for a one-of-a-kind continuing education experience designed for veterinary professionals eager to deepen their expertise in cardiology and respiratory medicine.
Over two immersive days, you’ll gain up to 9 hours of CE credit, learn directly from UC Davis’s renowned cardiology and respiratory faculty, and enjoy the perfect balance of education and relaxation in one of California’s most breathtaking destinations.
Differentiating between primary respiratory disease and cardiac causes of respiratory distress can be a diagnostic challenge, particularly when managing an unstable patient in the emergency room or in your examination room. This lecture series is designed to address that diagnostic ambiguity. Utilizing case-based examples, we will guide you through the process of quickly prioritizing and accurately interpreting key diagnostic tests—from physical exam and point of care ultrasound to thoracic radiographs, the role of pulse oximetry or airway sampling, and echocardiography. The goal is to sharpen your clinical acumen, enabling you to confidently distinguish between common canine and feline cardiac and respiratory conditions, and to develop the most effective, evidence-based treatment and monitoring plans to stabilize and successfully manage these complex cardiopulmonary cases.
Conference Highlights:
Expert-Led Lectures: Each morning, dive into state-of-the-art sessions presented by UC Davis’s cardiology and respiratory specialists, and gain leading-edge insights along with practical takeaways you can apply immediately in your practice.
Scenic Afternoons: After the morning sessions, the rest of the day is yours—relax, recharge, and explore Lake Tahoe’s natural beauty. (Please note: registration fees do not include outdoor activities. We encourage attendees to plan ahead for their Tahoe adventures.)
Flexible Registration: Can’t make it to Tahoe? Join live online and experience the same great content from wherever you are.
